\"natal<\/a>Natal \u00e9 tempo de paz, de amor e de renova\u00e7\u00e3o de votos de felicidade. Essa m\u00e1xima, transmitida ao longo dos s\u00e9culos, deve ser colocada em pr\u00e1tica com muito mais \u00eanfase pela humanidade nestes tempos em que o desamor, a desigualdade e a viol\u00eancia tendem a ceifar a esperan\u00e7a de dias melhores. Cultivar o bem deve estar na ordem do dia n\u00e3o s\u00f3 na data em que \u00e9 celebrado o nascimento de Jesus Cristo, mas ao longo de todo o ano, para que a alegria n\u00e3o pere\u00e7a ante os males do mundo.<\/p>\n

O Natal faz renascer o clima de uni\u00e3o entre as pessoas. \u00c9 uma pausa em meio \u00e0s tens\u00f5es do dia a dia. Fam\u00edlias e amigos se confraternizam e manifestam os mais nobres sentimentos. \u00c9 um momento m\u00e1gico, que se for reproduzido por todo o calend\u00e1rio estimular\u00e1 uma conviv\u00eancia pac\u00edfica, revelando as melhores inten\u00e7\u00f5es de homens e mulheres. Seria, ent\u00e3o, o caso de cultivar tamanho apre\u00e7o \u00e0 vida do primeiro ao \u00faltimo dia do ano, a fim de neutralizar tudo o que for negativo.<\/p>\n

A reflex\u00e3o \u00e9 o primeiro passo para a t\u00e3o esperada mudan\u00e7a. No caso do outrora pacato Maranh\u00e3o, a revers\u00e3o do cen\u00e1rio mostra-se ainda mais urgente. \u00c9 preciso estimular mais do que nunca a paz, pois a criminalidade bate \u00e0 porta a uma freq\u00fc\u00eancia que s\u00f3 cresce. Seja nas ruas, nos lares, no ambiente de trabalho e mais ainda nos pres\u00eddios, a realidade se mostra cruel para uma parcela cada vez maior da sociedade, sem que se vislumbre, pelo menos a curto prazo, um pensamento e uma atitude diferentes.<\/p>\n

O Natal \u00e9 muito mais do que gastan\u00e7a, troca de presentes e ceias fartas. \u00c9 tempo de solidariedade, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 por meio de doa\u00e7\u00f5es materiais, mas, sobretudo, na forma de aconselhamento e chamamento para uma nova vida. Os que praticam o bem devem estar muito mais dispostos a tomar para si a responsabilidade de construir um mundo melhor. O esfor\u00e7o conjunto de todos \u00e9 o meio mais eficaz de fazer frente \u00e0 maldade que insiste em tornar os dias mais dif\u00edceis. S\u00f3 assim, a humanidade ter\u00e1 condi\u00e7\u00f5es de resgatar os valores que hoje est\u00e3o em baixa.<\/p>\n

Cada pessoa deve estar atenta ao verdadeiro sentido do Natal, para que possa dissemin\u00e1-lo ao maior alcance poss\u00edvel. Tal percep\u00e7\u00e3o tornou-se uma necessidade em nosso tempo, marcado pela busca incessante de muitos por uma vida confort\u00e1vel sem o devido esfor\u00e7o. A falta dessa compreens\u00e3o abre caminho para todo tipo de abuso e s\u00f3 refor\u00e7a a desesperan\u00e7a. Uma realidade, portanto, inadmiss\u00edvel.<\/p>\n

Pobreza e viol\u00eancia andam juntas em grande parte das vezes e, n\u00e3o raro, tal combina\u00e7\u00e3o exibe contornos tr\u00e1gicos, quase sempre com o pior desfecho poss\u00edvel. Por isso, \u00e9 preciso dar \u00e0s pessoas submetidas a esses males a oportunidade de mudar de vida, para que no futuro o Natal seja motivo apenas de celebra\u00e7\u00e3o e j\u00fabilo.<\/p>\n
