As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es mostraram que o grupo transportava coca\u00edna da Bol\u00edvia para o Brasil, passando pelo Mato Grosso e chegando ao Maranh\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2015, uma a\u00e7\u00e3o da Pol\u00edcia Federal resultou na apreens\u00e3o de 30 quilos da droga em S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds (MA) e na pris\u00e3o em flagrante de dois integrantes do grupo. Os entorpecentes eram adquiridos em San Matias, na Bol\u00edvia, e transportados principalmente para C\u00e1ceres (MT) e S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds (MA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As senten\u00e7as confirmadas variam de 7 a 10 anos de pris\u00e3o em regime fechado, al\u00e9m de multas entre R$ 1.283 e R$ 1.507 e pagamento de dias-multa. Dois r\u00e9us foram absolvidos por falta de provas, mas a maioria teve a condena\u00e7\u00e3o confirmada com base na Lei de Drogas (Lei n\u00ba 11.343\/2006).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Justi\u00e7a ainda considerou os crimes de alta gravidade, por se tratar de tr\u00e1fico internacional de drogas, um dos delitos mais prejudiciais \u00e0 sociedade. A grande quantidade de coca\u00edna apreendida refor\u00e7ou o risco representado pelo grupo. Por isso, as condena\u00e7\u00f5es e as penas foram mantidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m foi determinado o in\u00edcio da execu\u00e7\u00e3o das penas para tr\u00eas condenados. Para os demais, foi extin\u00e7\u00e3o a punibilidade, seja por cumprimento da pena ou por falecimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tr\u00e1fico transnacional &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>A den\u00fancia do MPF destacou que o grupo criminoso atuava al\u00e9m das fronteiras do pa\u00eds e tinha estrutura organizada para negociar, transportar, armazenar e distribuir drogas. O tribunal rejeitou os pedidos das defesas, que tentavam anular o processo, absolver os r\u00e9us ou substituir as penas de pris\u00e3o por medidas mais leves.
