O protesto dos paulistas \u00e9 mais um cap\u00edtulo da guerra fiscal travada no pa\u00eds, que prejudica, sobretudo, os estados menos desenvolvidos, onde a\u00a0produ\u00e7\u00e3o industrial e a\u00a0arrecada\u00e7\u00e3o de tributos s\u00e3o menores.<\/p>\n<p>Na <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stf.jus.br\/portal\/processo\/verProcessoAndamento.asp?numero=5145&amp;classe=ADI&amp;origem=AP&amp;recurso=0&amp;tipoJulgamento=M\" target=\"_blank\">ADI ajuizada contra o Maranh\u00e3o, de n\u00famero 5145<\/a>, o governo paulista contesta um decreto editado em 18 de junho de 2002, que instituiu\u00a0cobran\u00e7a diferenciada do Imposto sobre Circula\u00e7\u00e3o de Mercadorias e Servi\u00e7os (ICMS) sobre a\u00a0importa\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00e1quinas e equipamentos por ind\u00fastrias beneficiadoras de madeiras e ind\u00fastrias de m\u00f3veis de madeira\u00a0instaladas no estado.<\/p>\n<p>A a\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0tem como autor\u00a0o pr\u00f3prio governador de S\u00e3o Paulo, Geraldo Alckmin, que alega que o decreto maranhense causa potenciais preju\u00edzos \u00e0 economia do seu estado, pois concede benef\u00edcio fiscal em desacordo com as normas constitucionais tidas como par\u00e2metro de controle. Uma dessas normas prev\u00ea que tais\u00a0atos sejam autorizados por delibera\u00e7\u00e3o dos estados e do Distrito Federal.\u00a0Alega ainda o governador paulista que a cobran\u00e7a diferenciada de ICMS foi concedida por decreto, o que tamb\u00e9m fere\u00a0a Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0ADI deu entrada no STF no \u00faltimo dia 25 e ser\u00e1 apreciada pelo ministro Roberto Barroso.
