O candidato ao governo do Estado, senador Lob\u00e3o Filho (PMDB), reuniu-se, nesta segunda-feira (30), em S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds, com lideran\u00e7as evang\u00e9licas para discutir o relacionamento entre o governo e as igrejas do Maranh\u00e3o. Pastores e membros de diversas congrega\u00e7\u00f5es compareceram ao evento e discutiram propostas de alian\u00e7as para o desenvolvimento de servi\u00e7os sociais em prol do estado.<\/p>\n

\u201cO governo n\u00e3o pode financiar a igreja, mas pode instrument\u00e1-la para que voc\u00eas atuem na sociedade junto ao governo. A igreja \u00e9 um bom caminho, por exemplo, para tirar os jovens das drogas. N\u00e3o vou tirar os jovens do crack com a pol\u00edcia, mas pela f\u00e9 e pela alma e n\u00e3o h\u00e1 como chegar ao cora\u00e7\u00e3o das pessoas sem voc\u00eas\u201d, afirmou Lob\u00e3o Filho aos pastores.<\/p>\n

O mission\u00e1rio Vilas Boas, presidente da Unipas (Uni\u00e3o Internacional de Pastores e Capel\u00e3es Volunt\u00e1rios) no Maranh\u00e3o levantou a necessidade de albergues e casas de repouso para abrigar mendigos no estado. \u201cN\u00f3s capel\u00e3es distribu\u00edmos alimentos e cobertores \u00e0 noite para os moradores de rua, mas n\u00e3o temos para onde leva-los\u201d. Vilas Boas citou o exemplo de estados como S\u00e3o Paulo e Santa Catarina em que o estado oferece albergues com banho e dormit\u00f3rio para que essas pessoas passem a noite.<\/p>\n

Lob\u00e3o Filho prop\u00f4s um servi\u00e7o em larga escala, equiparando o trabalho de todos os pastores \u00e0 capelania. \u201cMinha proposta \u00e9 que os pastores n\u00e3o se direcionem apenas aos fieis, mas que assistam \u00e0s fam\u00edlias em situa\u00e7\u00f5es de dificuldade, aos presos e demais setores da sociedade carente de amparo espiritual\u201d, sugeriu. \u201cH\u00e1 traficantes nas portas das escolas e a igreja \u00e9 o ex\u00e9rcito do bem para enfrentar esse mal. Para enfrentar o traficante, o governo tem a pol\u00edcia, mas a igreja \u00e9 uma grande aliada das v\u00edtimas\u201d, completou.<\/p>\n

O estudante Mizael Junior, participante do programa do governo federal Ci\u00eancia sem Fronteiras, destacou a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do senador Lob\u00e3o Filho na aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do programa no Congresso Nacional e afirmou que o candidato tem muito a fazer pela juventude do estado. \u201cA juventude evang\u00e9lica apoia Lob\u00e3o Filho. Em terra que o comunismo pisa n\u00e3o cresce grama. Quem conhece a verdade, n\u00e3o apoia o outro lado\u201d, declarou.<\/p>\n

Lob\u00e3o Filho recebeu as ora\u00e7\u00f5es dos l\u00edderes evang\u00e9licos para a obten\u00e7\u00e3o de intelig\u00eancia emocional e habilidade para lidar com as press\u00f5es da reta final da campanha. O candidato agradeceu as preces e finalizou o evento com um pedido. \u201cN\u00e3o venho aqui pedir votos, mas pe\u00e7o que voc\u00eas orem para que seja escolhido o melhor candidato para o Maranh\u00e3o.
