O Dia do Professor, celebrado hoje, \u00e9 uma data prop\u00edcia \u00e0 reflex\u00e3o\u00a0sobre o papel e as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de trabalho\u00a0de quem exerce o dever heroico de educar. Esses\u00a0profissionais abnegados merecem todo o reconhecimento, conquista ainda n\u00e3o alcan\u00e7ada em sua plenitude, mas que aos poucos vai tomando forma em S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds.\u00a0Disposto a oferecer aos docentes o melhor tratamento poss\u00edvel, o secret\u00e1rio municipal de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, Geraldo Castro Sobrinho, vem\u00a0abrindo caminho rumo \u00e0 valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da classe, da qual tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 membro leg\u00edtimo,\u00a0demonstrando total\u00a0empenho e sensibilidade com a causa e a bandeira de luta dos colegas de of\u00edcio.<\/p>\n

H\u00e1 quase um ano como titular da Semed, Geraldo Castro Sobrinho\u00a0iniciou\u00a0uma gest\u00e3o inovadora, digna dos mais sinceros e entusiasmados elogios. Um dos seus principais focos foi justamente o professor, tratado com todo respeito. Mesmo diante das limita\u00e7\u00f5es or\u00e7ament\u00e1rias, que ainda imp\u00f5em graves dificuldades ao dia a dia dos educadores, percebe-se a inten\u00e7\u00e3o do secret\u00e1rio de\u00a0proporcionar aos colegas condi\u00e7\u00f5es dignas para lecionar. Se a realidade ainda n\u00e3o \u00e9 a ideal, \u00e9 certo que h\u00e1 o\u00a0compromisso de mud\u00e1-la, no menor prazo poss\u00edvel.<\/p>\n

O bom trabalho desempenhado foi interrompido pela greve no ensino municipal, que se estendeu por mais de 100 dias, entre junho e setembro, e s\u00f3 foi encerrada porque o secret\u00e1rio, tendo o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico como mediador, jamais se furtou ao di\u00e1logo. Superado o obst\u00e1culo, as a\u00e7\u00f5es positivas foram retomadas\u00a0com pleno vigor e a expectativa \u00e9 que os estudantes encerrem o ano letivo com o melhor aproveitamento poss\u00edvel dos conte\u00fados.<\/p>\n

O empenho e a compet\u00eancia de Geraldo \u00e0 frente da\u00a0rede municipal de ensino t\u00eam\u00a0rendido bons frutos. Ontem mesmo, foi garantida a aposentadoria para 126 professores que j\u00e1 faziam jus ao benef\u00edcio e enfrentavam problemas de ordem burocr\u00e1tica.\u00a0Firmado durante a negocia\u00e7\u00e3o que p\u00f4s fim \u00e0 greve, o compromisso foi cumprido apenas\u00a040 dias ap\u00f3s selado o acordo. Outras conquistas importantes como premia\u00e7\u00f5es em concursos e aperfei\u00e7oamento profissional s\u00e3o marcas registradas da atual gest\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
