O processo havia entrado na pauta de julgamentos da sess\u00e3o do pleno do \u00faltimo dia 9, mas a aus\u00eancia da relatora, a desembargadora Etelvina Gon\u00e7alves, inviabilizou sua aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>A den\u00fancia foi interposta pelo promotor do Meio Ambiente, Fernando Barreto. Ele acusa Othelino de n\u00e3o ter respondido \u00e0s requisi\u00e7\u00f5es do MP, que lhe solicitara laudo pericial sobre o impacto ambiental causado por esgotos derramados no rio Calhau. Barreto requisitou a Othelino a elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de um laudo sobre o lan\u00e7amento dos dejetos in natura naquele curso d\u0092\u00e1gua. <\/p>\n<p>Segundo o MP, o secret\u00e1rio cometeu crime ao retardar a\u00e7\u00e3o civil p\u00fablica promovida pela Promotoria do Meio Ambiente. Notificado pela primeira vez em 2003 e mais duas em 2004, ele n\u00e3o tomou provid\u00eancias.
