Prefeito Orias \u00e9 acusado de cometer irregularidades na aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos do Fundeb<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

O Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico Federal no Maranh\u00e3o (MPF\/MA) prop\u00f4s a\u00e7\u00e3o de improbidade administrativa contra o prefeito do munic\u00edpio de Bela Vista do Maranh\u00e3o (MA), Orias de Oliveira Mendes, por irregularidades na aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos do Fundo de Manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o B\u00e1sica e de Valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos Profissionais da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o (Fundeb) em 2013.<\/p>\n

Entre as irregularidades identificadas est\u00e3o a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de bens por meio de empresa de fachada, contrata\u00e7\u00e3o de empresas sem procedimento de licita\u00e7\u00e3o e pagamento por servi\u00e7os n\u00e3o executados. As alega\u00e7\u00e3o baseiam-se em relat\u00f3rios da Controladoria Geral da Uni\u00e3o (CGU) e do Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Maranh\u00e3o (TCE\/MA).<\/p>\n

Em 2013, o munic\u00edpio recebeu quase R$ 8,5 milh\u00f5es do Fundeb, dos quais mais de R$ 3,7 milh\u00f5es foram repasses do governo federal. Estima-se que R$ 1.341.666,54 tenham sido desviados pela prefeitura de Bela Vista do Maranh\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Segundo o procurador da Rep\u00fablica Juraci Guimar\u00e3es J\u00fanior, autor da a\u00e7\u00e3o, o prefeito de Bela Vista do Maranh\u00e3o deve ser responsabilizado por ter “liberado recursos p\u00fablicos sem observ\u00e2ncia das normas financeiras pertinentes, autorizado a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos em descompasso com as finalidades legais e acobertando o desvio de dinheiro que era destinado \u00e0 Educa\u00e7\u00e3o”.<\/p>\n
