Memorial faz parte do complexo formado pela Pra\u00e7a Duque de Caxias e Mirante da Balaiada<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

No \u00faltimo s\u00e1bado, dia 14 de abril, al\u00e9m da inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o do Mirante da Balaiada, o mais novo cart\u00e3o postal da cidade, os caxienses tamb\u00e9m receberam a reforma do Memorial da Balaiada que cont\u00e9m acervos, artefatos e mobili\u00e1rios de \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n

O local recebeu melhorias estruturais e foi climatizado. Logo na abertura, um grande p\u00fablico teve a oportunidade de visitar e conhecer a hist\u00f3ria da Guerra da Balaiada pela primeira vez.<\/p>\n

Os caxienses Wanderson dos Santos, Mauriane de Sousa e Roberto Rivelino falaram sobre a reforma do Memorial, que faz parte do complexo formado pela Pra\u00e7a Duque de Caxias e o Mirante da Balaiada.<\/p>\n

\u201cUma reforma que veio valorizar a cultura caxiense e brasileira\u201d, disse Wanderson dos Santos, caxiense.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u00c9 uma novidade em Caxias para as pessoas que v\u00eam de fora, que v\u00eam conhecer. \u00c9 muito lindo! Aqui retrata as coisas de antigamente dos escravos e muitas coisas legais, quem n\u00e3o conhece pode vir que \u00e9 muito legal\u201d, refor\u00e7ou Mauriane de Sousa, caxiense.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm ponto muito importante e hist\u00f3rico para a cidade, primeiramente para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o de Caxias, tendo em vista que o prefeito F\u00e1bio Gentil est\u00e1 com todo empenho e desenvoltura com a sociedade. Achei muito lindo\u201d, ressaltou Roberto Rivelino, caxiense.<\/p>\n

A diretora do Memorial da Balaiada, Mercilene Torres, destaca que com a reforma e todo o atrativo tur\u00edstico que agora det\u00e9m o Morro do Alecrim, os caxienses tendem a conhecer ainda mais a pr\u00f3pria hist\u00f3ria.<\/p>\n

\u201cPorque as pessoas entraram, apreciaram, viram que o museu foi pintado, que est\u00e1 refrigerado, as salas ganharam portas novas e novas pinturas; isso deu uma repaginada no espa\u00e7o e fez com que as pessoas se sentissem bem no ambiente\u201d, destacou Mercilene Torres, diretora do Memorial da Balaiada.<\/p>\n

O secret\u00e1rio de Cultura, Patrim\u00f4nio Hist\u00f3rico, Esporte, Turismo e Juventude, Arthur Quirino, falou sobre o objetivo da reforma, que contemplou banheiros, audit\u00f3rio, maquete e seguir\u00e1 com a revitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o do acervo da Balaiada e dos m\u00f3veis.<\/p>\n

\u201cFizemos no intuito de atender n\u00e3o s\u00f3 os caxienses, mas tamb\u00e9m as pessoas que est\u00e3o vindo visitar Caxias.
