O cargo \u00e9 o segundo mais importante na estrutura da PM. Mesmo assim, ningu\u00e9m na corpora\u00e7\u00e3o mostrou-se interessado em assumi-lo, o que j\u00e1 come\u00e7a a causar desconforto.<\/p>\n<p>Incomodado com a indefini\u00e7\u00e3o, Melo tem feito convites a v\u00e1rios oficiais desde que assumiu o Comando-geral da PM, no \u00faltimo dia 28. De todos recebeu um n\u00e3o como resposta.\u00a0Na \u00faltima sexta-feira,\u00a0ele\u00a0confirmou por telefone a este blog que estava enfrentando dificuldades para preencher o cargo, que s\u00f3 pode ser ocupado por um coronel ou tenente-coronel. Segundo o comandante-geral,\u00a0nenhum\u00a0dos convidados at\u00e9 aquele momento\u00a0havia\u00a0aceitado trocar as fun\u00e7\u00f5es de chefia que exercem atualmente para assumir o CPM.<\/p>\n<p>Com duas passagens pelo cargo, Melo tem a exata no\u00e7\u00e3o das obriga\u00e7\u00f5es que o comandante da unidade ter\u00e1 que assumir. Quando\u00a0esteve \u00e0 frente do CPM,\u00a0o atual comandante-geral sempre fez quest\u00e3o de participar pessoalmente das opera\u00e7\u00f5es policiais. Era figura presente\u00a0nos cen\u00e1rios de todos os crimes\u00a0de grande repercuss\u00e3o e vangloriava-se por isso.<\/p>\n<p>Com certeza, exigir\u00e1 do seu\u00a0sucessor o\u00a0mesmo perfil operacional. Talvez por isso n\u00e3o esteja\u00a0sendo f\u00e1cil encontrar algu\u00e9m disposto a dedicar-se em tempo integral \u00e0 miss\u00e3o e a\u00a0sacrificar at\u00e9 mesmo a vida pessoal, como ele fazia.<\/p>\n<p>Devido \u00e0s sucessivas recusas, um clima de desconforto j\u00e1 come\u00e7a a se instalar na c\u00fapula da seguran\u00e7a. Fontes da pol\u00edcia\u00a0consultadas por este blog argumentam que a indefini\u00e7\u00e3o compromete as a\u00e7\u00f5es de\u00a0combate \u00e0 viol\u00eancia na Ilha. Isso porque a falta de comando inviabiliza a\u00a0montagem de estrat\u00e9gias\u00a0que tornem as\u00a0opera\u00e7\u00f5es policiais bem-sucedidas.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Em mais uma tentativa de resolver o impasse, Melo convidou ontem\u00a0o tenente-coronel Ivaldo Alves Barbosa, que j\u00e1 foi lotado no Centro\u00a0Integrado de Opera\u00e7\u00f5es de Seguran\u00e7a (Ciops)\u00a0e recentemente concluiu curso de forma\u00e7\u00e3o superior militar, em Fortaleza (CE).\u00a0Barbosa teria se mostrado disposto a encarar o desafio, mas, at\u00e9 o momento, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 confirma\u00e7\u00e3o oficial.
