Dr, Gutemberg Ara\u00fajo com grupo de colegas especialistas e pacientes do Servi\u00e7o de Cirurgia Bari\u00e1trica do HU-UFMA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Respons\u00e1vel por implantar a cirurgia bari\u00e1trica no Hospital da Universidade Federal do Maranh\u00e3o (HU-UFMA), o vereador Dr. Gutemberg, coordenador do Servi\u00e7o de Cirurgia Bari\u00e1trica do HU-UFMA, ministrou palestra na Reuni\u00e3o Geral da Obesidade.<\/p>\n

O objetivo foi orientar as pessoas candidatas a essa cirurgia sobre os cuidados com o preparo operat\u00f3rio, tipo de cirurgias e p\u00f3s-operat\u00f3rio. A reuni\u00e3o acontece de dois em dois meses no audit\u00f3rio do Hospital Universit\u00e1rio, sendo aberta ao p\u00fablico (pacientes e familiares).<\/p>\n

\u201cA avalia\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e9-operat\u00f3ria dos pacientes candidatos \u00e0 cirurgia bari\u00e1trica \u00e9 realizada por uma equipe multidisciplinar com o objetivo de informar sobre os riscos, benef\u00edcios e op\u00e7\u00f5es de t\u00e9cnicas cir\u00fargicas dispon\u00edveis. Essas orienta\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o importantes porque para uma pessoa ser submetida ao procedimento cir\u00fargico, ela precisa estar com a cabe\u00e7a e o corpo preparados. Ressalte-se a experi\u00eancia da equipe cir\u00fargica, que presta esse servi\u00e7o h\u00e1 17 anos, e \u00e9 o \u00fanico servi\u00e7o p\u00fablico credenciado pelo Minist\u00e9rio da sa\u00fade no Maranh\u00e3o\u201d, destaca Dr. Gutemberg.<\/p>\n

As opera\u00e7\u00f5es bari\u00e1tricas e metab\u00f3licas tem sido cada vez mais procuradas e indicadas para o tratamento da obesidade e de suas doen\u00e7as associadas, cujo carro-chefe \u00e9 o diabetes tipo 2. Al\u00e9m de levar a perda de peso , a cirurgia bari\u00e1trica traz benef\u00edcios no tratamento de outras doen\u00e7as relacionadas \u00e0 obesidade.<\/p>\n
