Comprado por R$ 7 milh\u00f5es, VTL j\u00e1 foi quase todo pago, mas obras est\u00e3o paradas: heran\u00e7a para Edivaldo Jr.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

O jornal O Estado<\/strong> publica, em sua edi\u00e7\u00e3o de hoje, mat\u00e9ria assinada pelo rep\u00f3rter Leandro Santos que finalmente revela o custo do Ve\u00edculo Leve Sobre Trilhos (VLT): R$ 7 milh\u00f5es. O matutino informa ainda, com base em entrevista feita com S\u00e1vio Ara\u00fajo, gestor de Contratos da Bom Sinal Ind\u00fastria e Com\u00e9rcio Ltda., empresa sediada no munic\u00edpio de Barbalha (CE) que vendeu o VLT \u00e0 Prefeitura de S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds, que os dois vag\u00f5es j\u00e1 foram 95% pagos.<\/p>\n

Cada uma das duas locomotivas do VLT custou R$ 3,5 milh\u00f5es. Segundo S\u00e1vio Ara\u00fajo, os 5% restantes da d\u00edvida ser\u00e3o cobrados do pr\u00f3ximo prefeito, Edivaldo Holanda Jr. O valor, de cerca de R$ 350 mil, dever\u00e1 ser usado em treinamento dos profissionais que operar\u00e3o as m\u00e1quinas. Isso se o novo gestor decidir dar continuidade ao projeto.<\/p>\n

As obras do VLT est\u00e3o paralisadas desde que o prefeito Jo\u00e3o Castelo teve confirmada sua derrota nas urnas. A construtora Serveng, contratada para montar os trilhos, j\u00e1 havia instalado um trecho de linha f\u00e9rrea de cerca de 800 metros, no Aterro do Bacanga. A empreiteira tamb\u00e9m j\u00e1 havia afixado, no retorno da Capela de S\u00e3o Pedro, uma placa informando detalhes da segunda etapa da obra, que iniciaria naquele ponto.<\/p>\n

O VLT, no momento, \u00e9 um elefante branco e, tomara que no futuro, n\u00e3o venha se tornar um esqueleto. Mas o fato de Castelo ter pago quase integralmente os dois vag\u00f5es obriga Edivaldo Jr. a faz\u00ea-lo funcionar. A n\u00e3o ser que o prefeito eleito esteja disposto a reaver o dinheiro gasto, o que pode levar o caso \u00e0 Justi\u00e7a.<\/p>\n
