Reitoria da Universidade Estadual do Maranh\u00e3o tomou conhecimento nesta semana, por meio de publica\u00e7\u00f5es em redes sociais, de um fato que teria ocorrido no ano de 2019, na cidade de Caxias (MA), relativo a um poss\u00edvel crime de estupro envolvendo discentes da institui\u00e7\u00e3o, fora do ambiente do campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nesse sentido, a Procuradoria Jur\u00eddica da UEMA, por determina\u00e7\u00e3o da Reitoria, recorrer\u00e1 aos \u00f3rg\u00e3os de seguran\u00e7a e\/ou judiciais que est\u00e3o investigando o caso, a fim de colher informa\u00e7\u00f5es oficiais e precisas acerca da apura\u00e7\u00e3o dos fatos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ap\u00f3s o exame de tais elementos, nos limites de sua compet\u00eancia e de acordo com os seus regimentos, esta IES proceder\u00e1 com a eventual apura\u00e7\u00e3o administrativa na modalidade de sindic\u00e2ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A UEMA, como institui\u00e7\u00e3o social e de conhecimento, repudia veementemente toda e qualquer forma de viol\u00eancia, seja f\u00edsica, psicol\u00f3gica e especialmente de natureza sexual, e reitera que atuar\u00e1 firmemente pautada nos fundamentos que alicer\u00e7am o Estado Democr\u00e1tico de
