Batista Matos foi um lutador incans\u00e1vel na vida e em sua trajet\u00f3ria de homem p\u00fablico<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9ramos bons amigos e t\u00ednhamos em comum, al\u00e9m do sobrenome e da profiss\u00e3o de jornalista, a paix\u00e3o pelo Flamengo, a inf\u00e2ncia e a adolesc\u00eancia como alunos do SESI e parte da hist\u00f3ria das nossas vidas ligada ao bairro Alemanha – ele muito mais do que eu, pois sempre foi ativista das causas daquela comunidade. Tamb\u00e9m integrou a equipe do jornal O Estado do Maranh\u00e3o<\/a>, em uma \u00e9poca anterior \u00e0 minha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com tanta identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e, principalmente, pela amizade fraterna que nos unia, a perda prematura do estimado Batista Matos me deixou profundamente abalado. D\u00f3i mais ainda por saber que poucos anos antes de sucumbir ao novo coronav\u00edrus ele havia superado com esperan\u00e7a e bravura um grave problema de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renascido, manteve o foco em seus projetos de sempre e elegeu-se com m\u00e9rito vereador de S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds, obtendo vota\u00e7\u00e3o consagradora. E, mesmo em meio \u00e0 pandemia, movido por seu agu\u00e7ado esp\u00edrito p\u00fablico, teve um inicio de mandato promissor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batista Matos deixa como principais legados a perseveran\u00e7a e a determina\u00e7\u00e3o dos que sabem canalizar energia para atingir uma meta. Sempre soube onde queria chegar e foi bem sucedido, at\u00e9 o lament\u00e1vel desfecho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
