Othelino acompanhou a assinatura do PL que cria o Estatuto Estadual dos Povos Ind\u00edgenas, ao lado de Lula, Fl\u00e1vio Dino e Weverton<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

O presidente da Assembleia Legislativa do Maranh\u00e3o, deputado Othelino Neto (PCdoB), acompanhou, nesta quinta-feira (19), a agenda do ex-presidente da Rep\u00fablica, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, em S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds. Na ocasi\u00e3o, o chefe do Parlamento maranhense garantiu que dar\u00e1 celeridade \u00e0 aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o do Projeto de Lei, que ser\u00e1 encaminhado pelo Governo do Estado, propondo a cria\u00e7\u00e3o do Estatuto Estadual dos Povos Ind\u00edgenas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No ato de assinatura do PL pelo governador Fl\u00e1vio Dino, que aconteceu no Parque do Itapirac\u00f3 com a presen\u00e7a de diversas representa\u00e7\u00f5es ind\u00edgenas, Othelino Neto ressaltou que o projeto traz diversas garantias importantes para os povos ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFoi um dia marcante e hist\u00f3rico para o Maranh\u00e3o. Daremos celeridade \u00e0 aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o dessa importante mat\u00e9ria e convidaremos representantes ind\u00edgenas para acompanharem a sess\u00e3o em que ela for deliberada\u201d, frisou o parlamentar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na solenidade, Lula parabenizou todos os agentes p\u00fablicos empenhados no desenvolvimento do Estado. \u201c\u00c9 uma alegria extraordin\u00e1ria estar no Maranh\u00e3o e acompanhar de perto tantos avan\u00e7os e garantias de direitos ao povo. N\u00f3s assumimos o compromisso de sermos os guardi\u00f5es da floresta porque ela interessa ao mundo e aos povos ind\u00edgenas”, disse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O governador Fl\u00e1vio Dino classificou o projeto de cria\u00e7\u00e3o do Estatuto Estadual dos Povos Ind\u00edgenas como uma grande conquista, fruto do di\u00e1logo com as diversas representa\u00e7\u00f5es. Segundo ele, certamente, a mat\u00e9ria contar\u00e1 com a sensibilidade da Assembleia Legislativa na sua aprova\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cN\u00f3s queremos garantir, em Lei Estadual, que todo o recurso internacional, oriundo da redu\u00e7\u00e3o da emiss\u00e3o de gases de efeito estufa, em face do trabalho de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o das terras ind\u00edgenas, seja aplicado nesses territ\u00f3rios e pelos povos ind\u00edgenas\u201d, afirmou Dino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
