A atividade acontece amanh\u00e3 (sexta-feira, dia 19) no audit\u00f3rio da Defensoria P\u00fablica da Uni\u00e3o, no Renascen\u00e7a. Uma reuni\u00e3o reservada com presen\u00e7as confirmadas das lideran\u00e7as dos PCT\u00b4s, das Institui\u00e7\u00f5es e Movimentos Sociais e da DPU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A ONU chega ao Maranh\u00e3o, na mesma semana, em que dois fatos confirmam a dificil situa\u00e7\u00e3o enfrentada pelos Povos e Comunidade Tradicionais. Ontem (18), no territ\u00f3rio Akro\u00e1-Gamella, cerca de pessoas ind\u00edgenas , entre eles um agente da CPT\/MA, foram presos, segundo den\u00fancias da Teia dos Povos do Maranh\u00e3o, arbitrariamente pela Pol\u00edcia Militar do Maranh\u00e3o<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O l\u00edder ind\u00edgena e agente da Comiss\u00e3o Pastoral da Terra, Kum\u00b4Tum Gamella estava entre eles. Desde ontem a situa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 tensa devido a presen\u00e7a de jagun\u00e7os armados contratados pela concessionaria de energia el\u00e9trica Equatorial para a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de linh\u00f5es na regi\u00e3o. Os ind\u00edgenas denunciam ainda que tiveram seus celulares e as c\u00e2meras fotogr\u00e1ficas levados. Os equipamentos registraram a presen\u00e7a ilegal de equipes para instala\u00e7\u00e3o de linh\u00f5es no territ\u00f3rio Akro\u00e1-Gamella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em recente entrevista coletiva (realizada na \u00faltima quarta-feira, dia 17), organizada pela Confer\u00eancia Nacional dos Bispos do Brasil (CNBB \u2013 Regional Nordeste), Pastorais da Terra, Movimentos Sociais e representantes dos PCT\u00b4s, a den\u00fancia de todas as vozes foi \u201cEstamos morrendo e ningu\u00e9m faz nada\u201d. Eles se referem tamb\u00e9m ao quantitativo de assassinatos no Maranh\u00e3o: 09 at\u00e9 agora tendo o conflito no campo como foco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para a reuni\u00e3o junto ao representante da ONU foram convidados as lideran\u00e7as ind\u00edgenas da APIB e 1 Teia dos Povos do Maranh\u00e3o, quilombolas do CONAQ e MOQUIBOM, camponesa (indicada pelo MST); e das quebradeira de coco baba\u00e7u (MIQCB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As institui\u00e7\u00f5es que atuam junto aos PCT\u00b4s, e que sofrem fortemente processos de criminaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, tamb\u00e9m foram convidadas.
