Os n\u00fameros apontam uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 32% no n\u00famero de acidentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per\u00edodos festivos sempre elevam o fluxo de ve\u00edculos nas rodovias. Ciente da situa\u00e7\u00e3o, a PRF no Maranh\u00e3o refor\u00e7ou o policiamento nos pontos cr\u00edticos para a ocorr\u00eancia de acidentes graves e criminalidade. Como resultado, houve uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o no n\u00famero de acidentes no geral (32%) com a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o de 20% nos acidentes graves. Mesmo com os n\u00fameros positivos, seis pessoas perderam a vida nas rodovias maranhenses no per\u00edodo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com o refor\u00e7o do policiamento, ocorreu um aumento de 46% no n\u00famero de pessoas fiscalizadas e 34% nos ve\u00edculos fiscalizados: foram 956 pessoas e 740 ve\u00edculos fiscalizados durante a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Natal 2021. Foram lavrados 454 autos de infra\u00e7\u00e3o com destaque para crian\u00e7a sem cadeirinha, dirigir sem cinto de seguran\u00e7a e alcoolemia com incremento de 71%, 22% e 83%, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alcoolemia e criminalidade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Natal 2021 teve especial foco na seguran\u00e7a vi\u00e1ria. Foram intensificados comandos de alcoolemia com a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de 456 testes de alcoolemia em todo o estado do Maranh\u00e3o.
