O estado passa por um processo em que a velha pol\u00edtica n\u00e3o corresponde \u00e0s necessidades do novo momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para o pr\u00e9-candidato, essa nova sociedade muda a pol\u00edtica de tal modo que n\u00e3o adianta mais imaginar que a atua\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica vai ser a mesma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Essa \u00e9 a elei\u00e7\u00e3o, talvez, mais importante, decisiva, tensa das \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. Elei\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a defini\u00e7\u00e3o do futuro, uma escolha entre a continuidade e a mudan\u00e7a. E o papel tem sido desempenhado com maestria, pois tem sido seguido por jovens empres\u00e1rios, trabalhadores, estudantes e quem est\u00e1 na base da pir\u00e2mide social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O quadro \u00e9 um s\u00f3: acabar com os \u00faltimos basti\u00f5es do coronelismo no Maranh\u00e3o. &#8220;\u00c9 o in\u00edcio do fim da pol\u00edtica de pai para filho.
