A express\u00e3o disso \u00e9 a presen\u00e7a do \u201cBloco do Reggae GDAM\u201d, que h\u00e1 seis anos brilha nas ruas e avenidas da capital.<\/p>\n<p>Este ano os seguidores do bloco podem esperar grandes atra\u00e7\u00f5es, entre elas: DJs, bandas, cantores maranhenses e a grande atra\u00e7\u00e3o internacional, Owen Gray.<\/p>\n<p>Com mais de 60 anos de carreira, Owen Gray nasceu em 1939, na Jamaica. Venceu sua primeira competi\u00e7\u00e3o de talentos aos noves anos de idade. Logo depois, entrou para o Alpha Boy\u2019s School que o acolheu e lhe ofereceu a voca\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00fasico, o que somaria com tantas outras habilidades do cantor.<\/p>\n<p>O artista \u00e9 completo! Sua hist\u00f3ria se confunde com o tempo. Passou pelo R &amp; B, Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae e outros segmentos da m\u00fasica jamaicana. Aprendeu tocar guitarra, bateria e teclados, tendo colaborado com v\u00e1rias produ\u00e7\u00f5es no seu pa\u00eds, a exemplo do \u00e1lbum \u201cDillinger Verses Trinity\u201d, de 1977.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 tive o prazer de conhec\u00ea-lo e autografar um CD. Desta vez, gostaria de entrevist\u00e1-lo. Saber mais sobre sua fant\u00e1stica contribui\u00e7\u00e3o no desenvolvimento da m\u00fasica jamaicana pelo mundo.
