Agora, com o Rasta Reggae Festival, essa oportunidade est\u00e1 ao nosso alcance. Mas, para que ele cres\u00e7a e se torne um marco, precisamos fazer nossa parte, mostrando a for\u00e7a do nosso movimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No dia 10 de maio, teremos atra\u00e7\u00f5es in\u00e9ditas na cidade, e aqui no blog vou apresentar cada uma delas. Hoje, come\u00e7o com The Heptones, um dos grupos mais respeitados e influentes da hist\u00f3ria do reggae. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formado em 1965 por Leroy Sibbles, Earl Morgan e Barry Llewellyn, The Heptones surgiu no auge do rocksteady e evoluiu como um dos pilares do reggae. Sob a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Coxsone Dodd no Studio One, o trio lan\u00e7ou sucessos como &#8220;Sweet Talking&#8221;. Seus \u00e1lbuns, como Night Food (1976) e Party Time (1977), produzidos por Lee &#8220;Scratch&#8221; Perry, s\u00e3o cl\u00e1ssicos que marcaram gera\u00e7\u00f5es. Can\u00e7\u00f5es como &#8220;Book of Rules&#8221; e &#8220;Party Time&#8221; transcendem o tempo, consolidando o legado do grupo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sibbles deixou o grupo no final dos anos 1970 e foi substitu\u00eddo por Naggo Morris. Llewellyn faleceu em 2011, enquanto Morris em 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atualmente, o grupo \u00e9 formado por Earl Morgan, Robert Dacres e Carlton Scarlett, que prometem reviver os grandes sucessos do lend\u00e1rio grupo.
